Unit Drilling Company is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Unit Corporation.

Unit Drilling Company was founded in 1963 with three drilling rigs. Now one of the largest onshore drilling companies in the United States, Unit Drilling Company and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Unit Texas Drilling, L.L.C., operate 129 onshore drilling rigs in the Anadarko and Arkoma Basins, the Rocky Mountains and the Texas and Louisiana Gulf Coast.

Unit Drilling's rig fleet principally drills for natural gas. With a full range of drilling rigs located in the major United States onshore drilling markets, Unit Drilling is ideally positioned to benefit from the expanding domestic natural gas market.
